TUG Bursary Fund

The Bursary Fund provides assistance for members of the TeX community who would, for financial reasons, otherwise be unable to attend a TUG Conference.

TUG provides only administrative support for the bursary; the Bursary Committee operates independently. Bursary applicants need not be members of TUG, and the TUG board is not given any special knowledge of bursary applicants.

Bursary Applications

Applications for financial assistance with the costs of attending the TUG 2009 Meeting should be sent by electronic mail to bursary@tug.org no later than April 17, 2009.

To submit an application, please carefully read the TUG Bursaries Guidelines and Deadlines and provide information on your financial need, academic merit and bursary history.

Bursary Donations

Please consider making a donation to the TUG Bursary Fund. 100% of any donations to the bursary fund are used for the bursary's stated purpose. Any surplus remaining after disbursements have been made will be carried over for use in the following year.

Bursary Reports

Reports for previous years are available: 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008.
