The client has supplied a PDF file and not the eps and the corresponding TeX code. Some elements of the figure has to be edited in Illustrator. The Font information in Acrobat shows that all the fonts are embedded. View in Acrobat is fine. When opened in Illustrator, the TeX fonts get substituted by some other characters. In some cases this even alters the picture elements (paths and other primitives) of the figure. Suggestion: Illustrator could, at best convert the non-available fonts into outlined object before opening the file, so that corruption of data does not take place. .FILENAME : ABR_krishna_20040109.jpg .URL_LINK : http:// .WEEKDAY : Tuesday .MONTH : 09 .DAY : 02 .YEAR : 2003 .NAME : Krishna .EMAIL : krishna@river-valley.org SubmitButton: Submit
