Yes, very. I've wanted to go to Hawaii since I was ten years old and read the book, _Diver's Down_ 2) WERE THE TOPICS COVERED OF INTEREST TO YOU? Yes. 3) LIST THE TALKS/SUBJECTS THAT WERE THE MOST VALUABLE TO YOU. Things which I attended: Jackowski's - ``Accents, Accents, Accents....'' Plaice's - ``A multidimensional approach to typesetting...'' Candy Yiu's - ``Chinese Character Synthesis using Metapost'' 4) LIST THE TALKS/SUBJECTS THAT WERE THE LEAST VALUABLE TO YOU. Ranade - ``The Spread of TeX in India'' --------INTERNET CONNCECTIONS 5) WERE YOU SATISFIED WITH THE INTERNET ACCESS PROVIDED? Yes. 6) WAS IT HELPFUL TO HAVE THE iBOOKS AVAILABLE AT THE WORKSHOPS AND FOR EMAIL ACCESS? Yes, very! --------ACCOMMODATION AND TRANSPORTATION: 7) DID YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH HOTEL ACCOMMODATION? Apparently there's a phone in the hotel which has a button for the front desk which is wired to Room 1131---got two calls where the person was expecting the front desk, but rang my phone. 8) WERE HOTEL CHARGES AS YOU EXPECTED? The tax was kind of a surprise, but shouldn't've been. They did try to charge porterage when I hauled my own bags though, but did take that off when I disputed it. 9) DID YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH TRANSPORTATION? First plane was late, which caused me to miss a connection, but a brilliant customer service rep in Chicago got me on a plane to LA in time to catch the flight to Hawaii --------HOW COULD CONFERENCES BE BETTER ORGANIZED: 10) COMMENTS?
