Whites last move was Nf3-e5 which is a blunder. It looks as if the black queen has to move because it is under attack by the knight. I never fail to tell my chess kids how important it is to care about threatened pieces first and retreat them in such a situation, instead of simply ``threatening back''. This, combined with the ticking clock, led me to a quick Qd6 and I passed the time control. How could I have ended the game in two moves?
