      Hello Cheryl,

What's the nature of your font issues? I suspect that the CM fonts won't appear in DVIWINDO. This is a problem I have had on Windows 2000 and XP Professional SP2.

I solved the issue for myself by using the fonts from an older Y&Y installation. Another option might be to use Adobe's ATM, even though the idea is that Windows 2000 and Windows XP have their own font installer and don't require ATM.

Let me know if my assumptions are right. If you are unsure, check the font folder and look for the size of the fonts. Are those that are not working 0K (zero K) in size?

  Thanks,
  Frank

Subject: [yandytex] HELP?

  Hello!

I realize that Y&YTeX is defunct. But, is there anyone out there that can give me some support? I'd be happy to pay consulting fees. We are trying to load Y&YTeX on a newer computer and are having some font issues (Windows XP).

  Many thanks!!
