Dear Y&Y users,

Michael Spivak of Publish or Perish, Inc. has recently completed the
MathTime Professional II (MTPro2) fonts, and they are now ready for
beta testing. The MTPro2 fonts offer the same functionality as the
original MTPro* fonts, and in addition add several new fonts and
features. This distribution doesn't use virtual fonts, and should be
compatible with Y&Y TeX.

We are looking for a few beta testers who can test the fonts with a
Y&Y TeX system. Active testers will receive a free license once the
product is released. Let me know if you would like to help with this.

Best regards,
Lance Carnes

* Some history: The MathTime and MathTime Plus fonts were developed by
Michael Spivak in the mid-1990's and sold by Y&Y until 2003. The
MathTime Professional (MTPro) fonts, first released in 2003, are a
significant improvement over the MathTime fonts. MTPro works with all
modern TeX systems, but since it uses virtual fonts it cannot be used
with Y&Y TeX. MathTimeProfessional II (MTPro2) is an upgrade of MTPro
and doesn't use virtual fonts, and should be compatible with all TeX
systems.
