Problem accessing the euro symbol in Y&Y TeX

I have attached a small example LaTeX file in which I try to access the euro
symbol in Y&Y TeX.  I have also attached the .log file and the resulting
.ps file.  Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong or what I need to do
to use the euro symbol in Y&Y TeX?
