Some fonts not shown in dviwindo

I am pretty sure that I installed the fonts, but to make sure that is not the source of the problem I removed msam6 and installed it again using "install new font" and this did not solve the problem. It is important to note that when I double click the msam6.pfm file I get an error message that the msam6.pfb file was not a valid font file. Nevertheless it seems that dvipsone and distiller do not have any problem with it and generate perfect ps and pdf files.

This happens to occur with a handful of fonts, msam6, msbm8, and mh2scr are among those.

sounds like you may have "dragged and dropped" your fonts into
the windows\fonts folder... did you??? Do the pfm fonts
in that directory have any size???? If not, then you might
try installing them again using the control panel...
