The font tirsc is a smallcaps Times Roman -- and it's not a freebie
:-( That is, you have to purchase the Times smallcaps font ... which I
happen to have just done about a week or two ago.

I called Adobe and purchased it directly over the phone -- the font
file(s) then came via e-mail. I haven't yet actually `unpacked' the
file so don't know all the details on getting it installed for use
with Y&YTeX.

But I suspect I will just use ATM (I'm on an NT box still -- for XP,
you'd do the drag-and-drop thing into c:\windows\fonts, I think it
is). Then, from DVIWindo, generate the TFM once you've made sure
you've set the proper encoding -- I just stick with the recommended
texnansi.

Uh, geez. Doesn't one then have to make sure the Times Roman *.fd file
has the proper references to smallcaps? Dunno ... as I said, I've not
yet gotten this far.

Anyways, I believe that's why you're not getting the TR smallcaps.

Ch.
