Did you install the fonts from the 2.2. CD? If yes, check if there's a
CM folder on the CD.

If there _is_ a CM folder on the CD, then install manually, as per
instructions in the smaller manual -- p.5, section 2.2 `Installing
Fonts with ATM -- Windows 2000'. Note that the documentation is `a
little outdated', from a time when XP was just becoming available, so
all references to it always seem to start with `Win2000' ;-)

If there's no CM folder on the CD, then they weren't purchased, and so
the ones on your Win2000 machines probably came from another source.

This came up just the other day -- other sources of CM fonts. Let me
poke around and locate the URL ...

OK. Here we go. Here's the message which was posted by another member
of the techsupport Forum:

Oh, one other thing. Check your dviwindo.ini file (in c:winnt or
c:windows) and confirm the paths to the fonts. Keep in mind that CM
fonts are NOT text fonts, so their files area all in folders with
`nontext' in the pathname.

In the smaller manual, section 4.9, `Font Problems', tells you how to
invoke the on-screen `map' of a font, which also yields information on
how it's been encoded. Type Ctrl-F to get to it quickly (it's also
accessed via Fonts > Show Font).

I hope the above helps. If not, just post again, and maybe someone
else can provide you with more insight.

P.S. I see that your message includes your site's serial numbers.
You should know that messages posted to `techsupport' go to
everyone who's signed up. It's very different from the old days
of `support at yandy.com', when all mail was seen only be Y&Y staff,
and replies were one-on-one. Now it's pretty wide open. The
up-side to this is that you get loads of input from lots of
people, with varying degrees of skill (I'm at the lower end)
and tons more experience in real-life uses of Y&YTeX, esp. XP.
