[Xy-pic] A possible bug in labels for the arrow extension? (fwd)

It seems to me that I've made rather a fool of myself.  When I'm rich and
famous you can all blackmail me.

the \hole solution works just fine.

\UP and \DW are short cuts for \ar@<0.5ex> and \ar@<-0.5ex> respectively.
I'm playing with lots of maps on the same objects.

I also found a solution just after I sent the message (things always seem
 to work that way right?). instead of \quad I used *=<10pt,10pt>\object{},
a bit of a hash really.

Anyway, thanks for everyones help.
