Bonjour,

I have not tried myself, I do not have TL 2019 yet but I would suspect
it is a font related issue. It might (or might not) be related to
these changes in svn:

------------------------------------------------------------------------
r3987 | Stevan_White | 2018-12-20 18:15:39 +0100 (Thu, 20 Dec 2018) | 2 lines
Changed paths:
   M /trunk/freefont/sfd/FreeSerif.sfd
   M /trunk/freefont/sfd/FreeSerifBold.sfd

Latin: some issues with stacked accents.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
r3988 | Stevan_White | 2018-12-23 14:00:48 +0100 (Sun, 23 Dec 2018) | 2 lines
Changed paths:
   M /trunk/freefont/sfd/FreeSans.sfd
   M /trunk/freefont/sfd/FreeSansBold.sfd
   M /trunk/freefont/sfd/FreeSansBoldOblique.sfd
   M /trunk/freefont/sfd/FreeSansOblique.sfd
   M /trunk/freefont/sfd/FreeSerif.sfd
   M /trunk/freefont/sfd/FreeSerifBold.sfd
   M /trunk/freefont/sfd/FreeSerifBoldItalic.sfd
   M /trunk/freefont/sfd/FreeSerifItalic.sfd

Latin, Greek: addition and adjustment of many positioning anchors.

Can you try with FreeSans which was not modified in r3987 or just
install an older revision of the freefont and be sure that you do not
have several instances in your computer?
