[XeTeX] Error using Kohinoor Devanagari font

OS X 10.10 has a new Devangari font called Kohinoor Devanagari. I am
trying to use it in a document, and I get the following error:

“xdvipdfmx:fatal: sfnt: table not found...”

I do not get this error if I use another Devanagari font (like Noto
Sans Devangari). The only thing that I can see is that Kohinoor
Devanagari appears to be bundled as a .ttc file, instead of .ttf or
.otf. I am not really sure what that means, and whether that makes a
difference.

Any clues on how I can resolve this?
