[XeTeX] Strange error

Dear friends,

I encountered an error I am unable to understand while compiling a
Malayalam document using xelatex. The error is as follows:

It is strange because I am unable to find a package named etoolbox in ctan.

Any suggestion would be highly appreciated. I can send a sample document if
that would help.
