[XeTeX] FreeSerif not working for me in Devanagari

Fedora has an old version that does not work. Current FreeSerif
contains the Velthuis glypghs.

Have you tried the latest version from
https://savannah.gnu.org/projects/freefont/ or from TL 2012?
