You're using a package (that its author has given up AFAIR) which has to load the Libertine OTF font files from the font service anyway…

For me this works as well. It uses also the Libertine O and Libertine O Bold variants (I extended the test a bit to display all four variants), not Semibold.



Behold the warranty … the bold print giveth and the fine print taketh away.
