[XeTeX] typesetting hyphen in xelatex

Sadly that is not backwards-compatible : tried in Plain XeTeX,
no ligatures are recognised :

	\font \bodyfont = "Arial Unicode MS:Ligatures=TeX"

Even more disturbing, no diagnostic is issued.
