[XeTeX] xdCJK [-->xeCJK] how to mix occasional Japanese with Chinese and English

Kohda-san,

That did the trick! Using your suggested

\setCJKfamilyfont{ume}{Ume Mincho}
\newcommand{\jp}[1]{{\CJKfamily{ume}#1}}
in the prologue,

then using
\jp{日本語... 等等}

to apply Ume Mincho to a Japanese string works like a charm.

I must study the \newcommand command.

(I'm using Linux Mint Debian Edition.)
