[XeTeX] Polyglossia "broken"?

Well I don't think Philipp has commit privileges, and CTAN isn't happy about random (even highly trusted) people uploading new versions of packages that are still officially maintained.

So we're back to the same problem as before, it's true.  However, by posting the code to the github repository, we (i) save François some work and (ii) notify him directly.  Of course we can't control whether he is too busy to upload the fixed version.
