Hello. I wrote about two weeks ago, but unfortunately didn't receive any advice as to what I should do. At the time, I wrote:

I am trying to use the \aemph command provided by Polyglossia. However, some of the text which will have such an ovelrine runs for multiple lines. What is resulting is my output is a single long line that runs off the margins of the page, instead of the multiple lines with an overline above the chosen words.

Vafa kindly wrote back that this doesn't work because it puts the text inside an \hboxR in in-line math mode.

Could Khaled, Vafa, or anyone else perhaps inform me of what I need to do in order to get an overline over RTL text, when that text runs for more than a single line?

Many thanks in advance.

Kind regards,
Talal
