Invoke xdvipdfmx with -v or -vv or -vvv or ... or invoke xelatex as  
"xelatex -output-driver='xdvipdfmx -vv'" etc.

You could also invest a bit of time looking at the font in FontForge,  
particularly checking the glyph #2448.
