[XeTeX] problem in tikz example compiled by xelatex

I made two files with the example above: cal.tex to be typeset with pdfLaTeX, and calxetex.tex for typesetting with Xe(La)TeX. I did this under Debian, typesetting from Terminal:

pdflatex cal.tex

xelatex calxetex.tex

Both PDFs are identical. The only difference with your setup is that I have installed TeXLive directly:
