Many thanks to you and to Khaled. But this creates another problem. If I 
compile the file:

\documentclass{article}
\usepackage[T1]{fontenc}
\usepackage{fontspec}
\usepackage{xltxtra}
\usepackage{unicode-math}
\setmathfont{Asana Math}
\pagestyle{empty}
\begin{document}
$P′$
\end{document}

then the PDF file contains Q″ instead of P′. Why is that? Do you have 
the same problem?
