[XeTeX] XeLaTeX and Arabic text in Footnotes

Hi Nathan,

I have encountered a similar problem before. It should be solved by  
putting

\catcode`_=11
\catcode`^=11 %etc.

in your preamble to turn the math characters into inactive letters.
