Also for Peter: I quickly created a file release with the binary I sent
to Jerzy for testing on Dec 18. It is here:

Please also read the release notes.

Main reason: the fontforge GUI is currently still pretty much tied in
with X11, and I do not know enough about win32 programming to create
all the necessary patches. I know George Williams plans (planned?) a
gtk ui at some point (which would be much more portable), but it seems
to be halfway finished and not much is happening afaics.

Secondary reasons: No time (I also work on luatex and metapost and I
have daytime commercial clients as well) and not much motivation
either (I work on linux myself, so I don't need it nor can I test it).

Best wishes,
Taco
