[XeTeX] 2 pages in a single page

I never tried this with LaTeX, however with context it takes few seconds
to rearrange a ~100 pages document, I generate a single page document
then load the pages in the order that I want in another double page
document, but I find this a hack anyway and I'd rather post process the
file with pdftk or similar (ConTeXt has built-in imposition support, but
it didn't fit into my specific need.)
