This could have happened in case you told FontForge to *save* the  
opened file before quitting... (After opening some dialogs,  
particularly the info dialogs where one can select a Unicode block of  
characters to be displayed, the font file is set into a "changed"  
state although no change actually was applied to it. One has to pay a  
bit attention to not just press RET or click on OK. Maybe a keyboard  
shortcut which invokes xkill is a simpler means to quit FontForge...)



People say that if you play Microsoft CD's backwards, you hear satanic  
things, but that's nothing, because if you play them forwards, they  
install MS Windows.
