[XeTeX] xunicode, tipa (again) plus amsmath

I use \mbox{} for text in maths mode, and \mbox use the text encoding of
the "surrounding" text, so try:

\begin{ipa}
$\mbox{RPAQIOE2}$
\end{ipa}
