Dear Sir/Madam,
I use Ubuntu 9.04 + XeTeX 3.1415926-2.2-0.999.6. When I type 'xelatex vijos\ solutions.tex' or 'xelatex vijos\ solutions.tex ' or other similar filenames in Bash, XeLaTeX gives strange error message. I ensure my .tex file is correct and even though 'vijos solutions.tex' is empty, XeLaTeX gives the error message. I think this must be a filename bug of XeLaTeX.
Here is the version of the operating system I use:
$ cat /proc/version
Linux version 2.6.28-15-generic (buildd at palmer) (gcc version 4.3.3 (Ubuntu 4.3.3-5ubuntu4) ) #49-Ubuntu SMP Tue Aug 18 18:40:08 UTC 2009
And here is the error message thown out by XeLaTeX:
$ xelatex vijos\ solutions.tex
*** glibc detected *** xelatex: munmap_chunk(): invalid pointer: 0x08b5a820 ***
