[XeTeX] Strange problem with 0.996 and 0.9995 xetex and File Names.

Smile... I might be special, but adding the extension to the TeX  
source file name makes no difference: success. Both TL '08 and '09.

Can you check in (old) Leopard? Have your binaries the same date as  
mine? And you have the same issue with TL '08?
