[XeTeX] xetex (from TL2009) fails when run in terminal session

fc-list is irrelevant; xetex on os x does not use fontconfig.

Looks like you can't use xetex via ssh, because of its use of the  
CoreGraphics and Cocoa frameworks (to access system fonts).
