When we tried to install it, we got the 'xelatex.fmt' problem. According
to
http://scripts.sil.org/cms/scripts/page.php?site_id=nrsi&item_id=xetex_faq#xelatex
this can happen if I have non-Unicode hyphenation files. On the previous
version, I recall either running the files in question through iconv or
deleting them (most of the international files were not of use to us). But
this time around someone else was doing the install, and when I couldn't
find the hyphenation files, we decided to play with the old version of
xetex for now. Evidently that was a mistake!

Ummm... I used an old thread because it had the email address, but thought
I changed the subject line. Was there something else I should have
changed?
