You can install it easily (inside a shell) either from a DVD or a DVD  
image. And since TL2008 comes with tlmgr (TeX Live Manager) there is  
now a contradiction between Linux package management and TeX Live  
package management – so why should any honest Linux distribution  
include such a cheat?
