It looks like the preprocessor didn't do its job.

Maybe what I previouly said wasn't clear. You should not rename  
"test.dn" to "test.tex", but when the preprocessor asks for an output  
file, choose the same name, only changing the suffix: so run "devnag"  
on "test.dn" and tell it to write the output to "test.tex".
