As a complement to the Companion series there is also a preprint
version of "The XeTeX Companion", online (http://xml.web.cern.ch/XML/lgc2/xetexmain.pdf
), written by the other Companions' co-author Michael Goossens. It has
impressive 92 pages, with a lot of background information on fonts,
Unicode, etc., even chapters on arabic, chinese and math typesetting.

(Maybe Jonathan could put a link to this nice document on the XeTeX-
homepage?)
