[XeTeX] issue with fontspec in TL2008

Thanks, Mi, for the reply.

The message is:

Fontconfig error: Cannot load default config file

I don't know how to generate the font.conf file.

I'm on WinXP, *without* administrator rights and running TeXLive from 
DVD (after installing it from tl-portable.bat).

Is there any way to solve that?
