[XeTeX] Problem with typesetting table with Arabic characters with TeX Live 2009 on Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04

I've tested on Windows by the
three kinds of line endings( \r\n, \n, \r).

\documentclass{article}
\begin{document}
\begin{itemize}
 \item This is a test\\
       [You]
 \item The 2nd item.
\end{itemize}
\end{document}

In all cases, I have the same error:

! Missing number, treated as zero.
<to be read again>
                   Y
l.5        [You]

? x
