With TeX Live 2007 and an updated xelatex to Version
3.141592-2.2-0.997 (Web2C 7.5.6) (format=xelatex 2008.2.3) I get this
composed glyph on the left side. On the right it's just an ?. In TL
2008 both glyphs are OK.
The other differences are:
fontspec 2006/12/24 v1.13 vs. fontspec 2008/08/09 v1.18
xkeyval.tex 2006/11/18 v2.5f vs. xkeyval.tex 2008/08/13 v2.6a
eu1enc.def 2006/08/13 v0.1a vs. eu1enc.def 2008/03/08 v0.1d
xunicode.sty 2005/02/26 v0.5 vs. xunicode.sty 2008/02/08 v0.91
xltxtra 2006/06/13 v0.2 vs. xltxtra 2008/07/29 v0.4
In TL 2007 lmodern.sty 2007/01/14 v1.3 is loaded. With Hoofer Text
? becomes ??.
