[XeTeX] 3 non-XeTeX questions

Some months ago (2008-01-16) it was a definite "No!" I haven't
received any notice that this situation has changed.
The problem seems to be that no up-to-date CLisp is available. It
worked to build elder versions of xindy (version 2.2), I think ...
Configuration (including some crashes) and compilation take hours ...
