[XeTeX] Odd error with XeLaTeX and TL2008

I am getting an error (see the appended log) when I use XeLaTeX and TL2008. I have been getting recent builds of XeTeX from the svn repository, but have not done so since installing TL2008.

As ever, I would be grateful for any insights.
