[XeTeX] CJK goodies in XeLaTeX

Yes, but this is already a bit too much for a
'regular' user. Nowadays, the existence of texlive and
miktex mean that many more people have access to
latex. These people don't necessarily know much about
codings and what to set, what not to set. And speaking
of XEmacs, if you install from source, MULE is not
installed by default so you don't have access to
EUC-JP then. Also, even if you do install the japanese
language pack on Windows, I'm not sure if EUC-JP would
be there.

Not really. The page explains how to convert OpenType
fonts for use in LaTeX. I am looking for a free,
OpenType Japanese font for use on linux + xetex (I
have been able to find many TrueType Japanese fonts,
but no otf yet).
