Wonderful! I've been hoping someone would take up this challenge.

One small point caught my eye, glancing through the files: at gloss- 
arabic.ldf, line 46, I think \arabicgregmonth at lybia should be  
\arabicgregmonth at libya instead, to match the usual English spelling.
