[XeTeX] How to use the XeTeX in subversion trunk ?

Hi,

    I am heavily relying on the new features XeTeX 0.997 introduced for
Chinese Language,
Can anyone tell me how to use the new code in trunk ? I am currently using
MacTeX 2007
which comes with 0.996 versin, the latest release. I hope I don't have to
touch global TEXMF
directories.
