[XeTeX] testing requested (non-Mac platforms)

I have just checked in rev.809 in XeTeX svn; this includes significant  
changes to the font searching code on non-Mac platforms (those using  
fontconfig, in other words). This is designed to resolve an issue  
reported on the bug tracker:

I'd like to include this fix in the TeX Live release, but would very  
much appreciate if some people could build and try the new code before  
it is committed there, in case there are any negative side-effects of  
the changed strategy. (Not relevant to Mac users: this piece of code  
is not used on Mac OS X.) If there are fresh bugs, let's squash them  
ASAP!
