[XeTeX] Polyglossia issue with fancyhdr

I believe the culprit is the newly introduced command  
»\text<lang>{...}«; I have similar problems with scrlttr2 with its  
\usekomafont and resolved it by setting \textgerman to \relax  
(\renewcommand{\textgerman}{\relax}).
