[XeTeX] using ConTeXt with XeTeX ?

It weans that your XeTeX is still too old.
Try to run
which xetex
and then replace that one with the binary from
http://minimals.contextgarden.net/current/bin/xetex/
It won't solve the problem of incomplete font definitions (which need
to be fixed once you/we figure out which ones are problematic), but it
will speed it up considerably.

This is indeed a problem (fixed in TeX Live, but not in gwTeX): some
map files for LM are missing.
But I have no idea where hofler comes from.
