[XeTeX] Palatino and mapping error?

Yes, I was thinking that! It's like Rolls-Royce etc. - one would use a dash
in referring to a merger between two separate firms (the BP--Shell
negotiations etc.) but once they had merged just a hyphen (as with people:
Maria Meneghini-Callas was hyphenated, not en-dashed!). Place-names take
the hyphen: Bad-Württemberg etc.

Since your problem is solved now: Why do you think you should use an
en-dash in this case? It's neither a »Gedankenstrich« nor an
»Erstreckungsstrich« (two kinds of dashes in german typography), so
one should use a short hyphen (»Bindestrich«) between the two names.
A quick look in some books from Klett-Cotta on my bookshelfs doesn't
show any dashes either.
Just curious,
