Cool, that lets you out of the colour angle (though you still have to  
be concerned about dot gain --- your printer will have the values for  
this, most likely they'll have an adjustment curve they'll want you  
to apply to the images).

The alternative is xdvipdfmx which I believe others mentioned in this  
thread.
