[XeTeX] fancy headers

Hi again,


I've used the package \usepackage{fancyhdr} to have page headers on my
class documents. I've just started using XeTeX and have found that this
package seems to be incompatible with my setup.

Does anyone know of an alternative or work around?

FYI, here's my typical setup ....


% text for headers and footers
\pagestyle{fancy}
\fancyhead{}
\fancyfoot{}
\fancyhead[L]{\textsf{Field Biology --- }Fall 2006}
\fancyfoot[R]{\thepage}
