[XeTeX] escaping dollars

Using fontspec 1.13 (I guess), I get the wrong font when compiling the
following document:

\documentclass{article}
\usepackage{fontspec}
\setromanfont{Junicode}
\begin{document}
what's up \$
\end{document}

If I remove \$, only Junicode is inserted in the final document, but if
it isn't, I have the dollar character using a CM-like font.

Is there any way to avoid this?
